Alissa Matthews, PA-C
Lisa graduated from Saint Louis University in 1996. Her undergrad work was done at Michigan Technological University where she earned her BS in Biology. She is a Cedar Springs native and has been with WPFM since its inception. She lives in Greenville with her husband and has 2 children. She started her career in the former Cedar Springs Medical Clinic and is privileged to be seeing her 4th generation of patients.
Thomas Cox, PA-C
Tom earned his BS in Biology and Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Central Michigan University. He joined Cedar Spring Medical Clinic in 2002 and is one of the founding members of WPFM. He participated with the National Health Service Corp and found his deep love for rural medicine. He lives in Rockford with his wife and 2 daughters. As a family, they have a passion for working at Special Olympics each year.
Matthew Larsen, PA-C
Matt joined the staff in 2009 after doing multiple rotations with us. He is a graduate of Grand Valley State University where he earned his BS in Biomedical Sciences and Master of Physician Assistant Studies. A native "Yooper", Matt has found a home and great appreciation for the Cedar Springs community. Matt's professional affiliations include the American Academy of Physician Assistants since 2009. He resides in Grand Rapids.
Olivia Presnell, PA-C
Originally from Indiana, Olivia has found a home in the Grand Rapids area where she, her husband and son reside. She earned her BS in Biology at Huntington University and her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Grand Valley State University. While she started her career in emergency medicine, she has loved the transition to family medicine. She strives to be both a caretaker and an advocate for her patients and their overall well-being. Her goal is to provide affordable, well-rounded care for all people, regardless of their circumstances or history.
Megan Schwartz PA-C
Megan earned her BS in Nutrition at Michigan State University. She was born and raised in Grand Rapids but went to University of the Cumberlands in Kentucky for her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies. She also worked in Urgent Care in Kentucky before coming home to MI to join our clinic. She ran track and cross country at MSU and continues to run and train for marathons. She is passionate about family medicine for the long lasting patient-provider relationships and promoting whole body well-being.
Kirsten Oosterbaan PA-C
Kirsten joins White Pine Family Medicine with several years of family practice and hospitalist experience. Growing up in Greenville, MI, she understands the needs of a rural community. Kirsten earned both her Bachelor and Masters degrees at Grand Valley State University. She is a devoted wife and mother of 3. Their family loves to get everyone outdoors for any kind of adventure as often as possible.
Jessica (Clark) Walker PA-C
Jess earned her BS in Kinesiology with a minor in Health Promotion at Michigan State University. She then traveled to Ohio and completed her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Findlay. She and her husband are excited to be back in Michigan where they were both born and raised. During her free time, Jess enjoys riding her horse, hiking with her husband and dog, and playing board games with friends. She is passionate about building patient relationships and providing a safe space for anyone seeking care.
